Do what you love to do…

No matter how many obligations or self acquired responsibilities you have, find space to what drives you and ignites the fire within your Soul. Do not negotiate for anything or anyone what activates the light within the chamber of your heart towards self love or love to others, because at the end who pushes you away consciously or unconsciously is being guided by an ego who will always work on embracing self oriented unilateral satisfactions.

With love and always from the light Glenda ❤️

The Heart Love Recordings…

Love yourself enough to take actions required for your happiness… enough to cut yourself loose from the drama-filled past…enough to set high standards for relationships… enough to feed your mind and body in a healthy manner… enough to forgive yourself…enough to move on.

Hunting for the good stuff, when you arise in the morning.

Today begins a new day from a new week in your life.

Sit down with a paper sheet and grab a pen to embrace a short exercise that will enlighten your day.

Ask yourself;

If burdens are heavy why should I keep carrying them over my shoulders?

Then let them go.

That’s it !

Release yourself!

Close your eyes and imagine a helium ballon where you are able to place them all (your burdens) in and you will free yourself from the mental slavery of holding on to them.

Now release the cord between the ballon and you, let it go to the universe.

For instance watch how those burdens leave from a sacred temple which is the physical body.

Relax your shoulders, draw in your shoulder blades all the way towards the tail bone, with the crown of your head facing towards the heavens.

Close your eyes and allow your attention to your heart.

Place both hands over that sacred temple.

Allow your attention towards your forehead (wisdom body, intuition, intellect) make a visualization of how that small engine commands every breath you take and every movement you make.

Find a small light (find it) is there. Allow your attention to your breath and while you inhale feel how your hands shelter the chamber of your heart.

When you exhale anything that is not in alignment to peace and calmness go away allowing the light from your intellect expand and encompass all over your body.

The chamber of your heart blooms like a lotus flower at the surface of clear water, after embracing the darkest adversity down at the bottom of a pond.

Hold on only to gratitude for another day alive, that is the best gift found when you find yourself every morning after opening your eyes.

When There Is Sun Within The Soul.

Fall seven times, stand up eight. Allow your faith to be bigger than your fear. Remember that the things you take for granted, someone else’s is praying for.

Wherever you go, no matter the weather always bring your own Sunshine. Stop watering the weeds in your life and start watering the flowers. The crowd will try to make you change and retreat.

You are a Warrior, Warriors don’t give up, they don’t back down.

The Warrior only retreats to rest and become stronger, because the warrior knows how to choose a battle.

Allow yourself to be a beginner, no one starts off being excellent.

Semperlee Yoga is celebrating its second year during July and August of a mission of love based on community service, providing resilience through yoga.

There are no words to express the gratitud for all the beautiful Souls that had arrived to my life at the yoga’s classroom and through this blog.

Stay tuned for more to be shared.

Last but not least;

How rare to be born with a name of love…

What challenges await that I must face.

Listening to the above I must embrace.

Two years ago I walked this way… After leaving behind yesterday’s pain.

Without a trace there are not regrets…

from where I’ve been, instead with gratitud towards others beings.

While each experience has opened hearts. No choices called to live again by bouncing back instead of break.

That’s how strong is a Warrior presence spreading the sacred fire of a violet essence.

YOGA FOR PEACE… Happy Birthday International Day Of Yoga.

Hey there…

Back on September 27, 2014, in the year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested that June 21, was the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, and as such should be made the International Day of Yoga as it shares special significance in many parts of the world.

Fortunately, this initiative found support in many global leaders, 177 nations co-sponsored the resolution, the highest number of co-sponsors ever for any UNGA resolution of such nature.

The awareness risen and today billions of people are known to practice Yoga.

And I mean from celebrities to political leaders and yoga gurus, there are people who vouch for Yoga for a healthy mind and body.

Originally before June 21 was recognized as the International Yoga Day, informal consultations on the draft resolution entitled “International Day of Yoga” was held on October 14, 2014.

Two months later, on December 11, India’s Permanent Representative Asoke Mukherji introduced the draft resolution in UNGA.

The draft received the support from 177 Member States who sponsored the text, which was adopted without a vote.

Probably you have already read thru this blog, about yoga, its benefits and how it encourages discovery and activation of 6 core competencies which are the key principles of resilience.

What is resilience?

Resilience is the ability to grow and thrive in the face of challenges and bound back from adversity.

Returning to our International Celebration…

What is Yoga?

The word Yoga means unity and has been derived from the Sanskrit word Yuj’ which means to join’.

Therefore, Yoga is a means of balancing and bringing harmony between the mind, body and soul.

Yoga includes asanas, mudras, kriyas, shaktakarmas and meditation.

Yoga provides a physical workout that allows the practitioner to see benefits faster than any other.

While Yoga is an age-old practice, the celebration of this practice as the International Day of Yoga has given it a boost.

Yoga is a union of physical, mental as well as spiritual practices and disciplines that is said to have originated in India almost 5,000 years ago.

While Yoga finds a mention in the Rigveda, it became more prominent as hatha yoga texts emerged around the 11th century.

Yoga includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures.

It is widely practiced for health and relaxation

The main aim to celebrate this day is to create an awareness worldwide on the importance of staying fit and healthy.

The theme for this year’s International Yoga Day is ‘Yoga for peace.’

There should be not doubts about that yoga is the gift of ancient India to the world.

It has been sustained by medical scientific research that Yoga helps to achieve the healthy body and peace of mind.

It has made integration to the military community and as such supported holistically physical and mental rehabilitation to the service members and dependents.

Also it has already helped millions of people around the world to enhance and improve their lifestyle by including yoga in their daily routine.

Hence it is important to make the yoga reach more and more people around the world.

“Obstacles do not block the path, they are the path.”

Bounce back in life. It is from darkness where resilience is born.

When feeling the world over your shoulders, give yourself a treat.

Go outdoors reach for the light. Be playful, decide to enjoy the moment.

Just keep in mind that with each inhale lift your heart closer to the sun. With each exhale root your heels more deeply into the ground.

Always remember that although light is easy to love it is from darkness where resilience is born. Trust yourself. Break any mental iceberg. Remember that’s your ego, dragging you back. You know more than you think you do.

There is a wisdom of the head, and… a wisdom of the heart. The wisdom of the heart nurtures the wisdom of the head.

Happiness is an individual’s responsibility.

Choose to be happy.
