Give Without Expectation…

Hey there Beautiful Souls,

Have you ever been able to give without expectations?

Allow me share this with you. When you spread light and love to others, it should be done without any conditions attached to the act.

And why is that?

Because attachment is the root of suffering. We are all made of the same energy, so the good that you give out is essentially given to yourself. In other terms when you help others, you help yourself.

So my point here is that the joy of giving will always be your reward. Remember that energy is constantly flowing, and by lovingly giving unconditionally you will be able to increase the flow and bring it into a higher vibration of being which in turn assists everyone.

Giving is part of our Soul, hence when you are not able to give without conditions, your ego will develop issues of scarcity and the need to feel acknowledged.

When you give selflessly from the heart, you increase the energies of abundance and gratitude throughout your sphere of influence.

Life is not a competition…

We are here to help each other instead of allowing ourselves get lost into an EGO trip, that will trigger inner scarcity leaving behind struggles ultimately delaying your journey towards a higher self.

Focus in ways that you can give without expectations allow yourself to pay forward all the good things (that you already have) without consciously thinking about it and you will be able to see that the best rewards reaped are from acts that you didn’t even realized you had sown.

Where ever life plants you… Bloom with grace.

Hello there, beautiful Souls. Sometimes the little things in life are more than enough. You bet they are. Nonetheless, when staring at a sunflower see how bright sunny and positive it spreads seeds of happiness.

What I mean is that you can always choose to rise, shine and hold your head high. Flowers grow back, even after they are stepped on.

If a sunflower chooses to face the sun every single day, you can choose to face the sun as well and instead of holding yourself back in the dark.

Keep in mind that the smallest act of love should begin with self love. Self love is the kindest gift you can shelter your heart with hence someone else’s heart.

Last but not least, darkness is our nature, but the journey for light echoes from our Soul.

Namaste

OPN “Enduring Energy Cleansing”

Hey there beautiful Souls.

When you are at home and feel like is hard to breath or you don’t want to stay alone during a long period of time, your house might be needing an energy/ spiritual cleansing through smudging process.

Let’s begin with what is smudging?

Smudging is a cultural ceremony practiced by a wide variety of Indigenous peoples in Canada and other parts of the world.

Although practices differ, smudging is used for medicinal and practical purposes as well as for spiritual ceremonies.

As such is a powerful spiritual cleansing technique which calls upon the spirits of various sacred plants to drive away negative energy and to restore balance to an individual, a group, a space, or all three.

Why smudging is important?

Because is performed to remove negative energy as well as for centering and healing.

How does sage clear negative energy?

Scientists have observed that sage can clear up to 94 percent of airborne bacteria in a space and disinfect the air.

When sage is burned, it releases negative ions, which is linked to putting people into a positive mood.

The Latin word for sage salvia stems form the word heal.

Below you can see the difference of the smoke when the place you need to smudge is overwhelmed by negative energies and when is clear.

You can also clean the space with a Chant, like the “Cleansing Chant” below.

I personally like to invoke the presence of Archangel Michael with a short prayer, that I’m also sharing.

Also the psalm 23 is a great tool during smudging.

Prayer to invoke Archangel Michael:

Archangel Michael and my entire team of Guides and Angels, enter into this time and space to cleanse and protect my energy on every level.

I ask this according to divine will, for the highest and greatest good, and so it is.

Psalm 23

Last but not least;

• If your sage or candle smoke rises to the west, you need to clear your body energetically.

• If the smoke rises to the north, you need to clear your mind.

• If the smoke rises to the south, you need to clear your heart embracing forgiveness and letting go.

• If the smoke rises to the east, you need to clear your spirit. Embracing a meditation discipline helps a lot.

If there is a will, there is a way…

Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change…

What is intention?

It is an aim or plan.

In the medicine and holistic fields is the healing process of a physical or emotional wound.

During the integration of a yoga class, we (the teachers) have the intention to guide the practitioner to allow him or herself to let go of anything that is not in alignment to that peaceful moment targeted to reconcile body, mind, and spirit.

To take a look at their inner selves in order to identify the reason that took them ( in the first place) to that yoga class.

Then to allow themselves to set that thought as the aim that will keep them focused with commitment to keep their poise during challenging poses just at it should be in the midst of adversity through our lives.

In other terms to be able to fall and bounce without breaking.

To be resilient.

It is important always, always…

Quoting Wayne W. Dyer,

“When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.”

Also that with everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift.

Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.

The most important here is to keep flexibility and humility in order to recognize that although we are not perfect, that is not a license to project any self’s frustration over others and become hurtful with others at work, out at the streets or with our loved ones.

How do you identify this while in a yoga class?

When arriving to your mat (carrying the burdens of a day), and we cannot allow ourselves to set that intention, because we are giving power to a monkey mind to take charge intercepting our productivity and growing process.

Not only that, getting ourselves into a balance posture and finding a drishti or gaze (while in yoga and life) becomes harder than getting into the pose itself.

These are the moments when the power of intention takes place with empowerment.

Also remember that passion is a feeling that tells you: this is the right thing to do. Nothing can stand in my way. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. This feeling is so good that it cannot be ignored. I’m going to follow my bliss and act upon this glorious sensation of joy.

Last but not least;

“How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.”

Everybody is a genius…

Think twice before measuring ourselves (and others) against inappropriate standards.

Everyone has a different ability or particular “genius.”

Everyone is gifted.

Often, comparing yourself to someone else’s abilities might mean overlooking what it is you are naturally more suited towards doing.

In other words, stop being a fish trying to climb a tree and embrace your fishiness. (Fish really do lend themselves to great quotes).

Jesus used them many times through parables in orden to make people understand the purpose of his ministry.

To awaken the Christ Consciousness into our hearts first, and indeed instead of measuring others for having missed the mark (sinned) through their behavior.

The synthesis is:

We’re not all made to be theoretical physicists. Aim for what you’re good at, work hard for what you want, and don’t beat yourself up when you can’t do everything perfectly.

Last but not least;

Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed that is. Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.” – Yoda

With Love and always in the light Glenda L. Santos.
