Humility gives a leader the courage to set aside personal gain for the good of others. … A humble person sees others as inherently valuable. Prideful leaders are focused on themselves. Humble leaders are others-focused.

There had become (through scientific research from the mental health field ) that displaying humility have the following psychological benefits:

•  Less prejudice

•  Better work performance

•  Higher grades

•  Higher self-control

•   Soothe the soul

•  Excellence in leadership

•  More helpful
